FAQs help, but a planning path is usually faster once you know what you are trying to decide.

1

Can our own team use the Tech Clarity roadmap?

Yes. Your roadmap can be delivered by your team, Lightning or specialist partners. Advisory is valuable independently of a later build.

2

Do we need a paid advisory session before a website or app project?

No. If the brief is clear, discuss the project directly with us. Tech Clarity is a separate option when the wider direction needs work.

3

Can you care for a website built by another provider?

We can assess the existing technology, access, dependencies and condition before agreeing a takeover and service scope.

4

Does hosting include unlimited changes?

No. Hosting, maintenance and development changes are distinct services unless your agreement explicitly combines them. Your proposal confirms inclusions, limits and third-party costs.

5

How do ownership, cancellation and handover work?

These arrangements are set out in the proposal and service agreement. We confirm code and account access, licensing, billing, notice periods and handover responsibilities before you commit.

6

What services do you offer?

We offer Tech Clarity advisory, websites and business web apps, and hosting and care. Portals, dashboards, automation and integrations support those services.

7

How do you charge for your services?

Most work is either a focused package, pay-as-you-go at $200/hr NZD, or monthly ongoing work at $150/hr. Fixed-price quotes are available when the scope is clear.

8

What is your typical project timeline?

Simple automations can take a few days. More substantial portals, intranets, dashboards, or applications usually take several weeks. The planning stage sets a realistic timeline.

9

Do you provide ongoing support?

Yes. Monthly support and development options are available when a system needs ongoing improvements, maintenance, fixes, or iteration.

10

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Yes. We work with existing CRMs, project management tools, accounting platforms, scheduling systems, databases, and custom APIs.

11

What technologies do you use?

We use practical modern tools including React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Supabase/PostgreSQL, Vercel, and automation platforms. The stack depends on the job.

12

How do I get started?

Choose Tech Clarity for wider technology decisions, or bring a clear website, app or care requirement directly to us.

13

Do you offer training?

Yes. We agree training, documentation and handover requirements as part of the scope.

Missing something?

Ask the question in plain English.

A short message is often enough to work out whether you need a tool, a planning session, a fixed package, or nothing at all.
